Great to see we have made it above ground level and the steel frame has been erected at Ardee Educate Together National School. TAYLOR+BOYD are the structural and civil engineers for this new primary school in Ardee, Co.Louth.
The new building is located on the agricultural land adjacent to St. Brigid’s Hospital, Ardee. The main school is being constructed using load bearing masonry with the General Purpose Hall consisting of a steel frame to achieve the required spans. A new access new road and junction are also to be constructed, which as part of Louth County Council’s town masterplan, and will eventually extend into Ardee town centre.
