Belfast-based Structural & Civil Engineering Consultancy, TAYLOR+BOYD announces a new Partnership structure as they enter a period of growth and a new generation of leadership.

TAYLOR+BOYD is pleased to announce a significant leadership transition as part of the firm’s continued growth and long-term strategy. Paul Taylor will remain a Partner in the practice, which he joined in 1985, ensuring continuity in leadership and vision. After many years of dedicated service, Glenn Kerr will be stepping down from his role as Partner. Glenn will continue to contribute to the business as a Consultant, providing valuable expertise and support during this new chapter.

As part of this transition, Steven Sloan and Richard Mackey will join Paul Taylor as Partners of TAYLOR+BOYD.

Steven joined the practice in 2004 on completion of his Masters degree, he  achieved Chartered status in 2009 and progressed to Senior Associate in 2020. Steven has served on the Northern Ireland & Ireland Regional Group Committee of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) since 2021 and currently holds the position of Honorary Secretary.

Richard joined the practice in 2008 following his Masters degree, he achieved Chartered status in 2016 and was appointed Associate in 2020. Richard recently joined the Northern Ireland region of the Concrete Society, contributing to the Technical Committee Group.

Their appointments reflect the Taylor & Boyd’s commitment to developing leadership from within and reinforcing its position as a trusted and forward-thinking practice.

This evolution of the partnership marks an exciting milestone for TAYLOR+BOYD, strengthening the firm’s capabilities while honouring the contributions of its long-standing leaders.
