Senior Staff
Paul Taylor
Partner
Paul has been a Partner in Taylor & Boyd since 1988. During this period, he has managed the resources of the practice to deliver projects covering almost all sectors of the industry. As well as planning and programming work, Paul is responsible for day-to-day engineering design, site inspections, reports and attendance at meetings.
Glenn Kerr
Partner
Glenn joined Taylor & Boyd in 1985 and became a Partner eight years later. With a broad portfolio Glenn continues to deliver projects across the engineering industry. He has ongoing responsibility for engineering design, attendance at meetings, site inspections and reports; as well as planning and programming work.
Normal Magill
Consultant
Joining Taylor & Boyd in 1988, Norman was made a Partner at Taylor & Boyd in 1993. For ten years his role included leading teams and planning programmes and budgets for major projects. Norman is now a Consultant Engineer with Taylor & Boyd, working on engineering design and project management across the industry.

Norman Cromie
Senior Associate
Norman has over 30 years of experience in engineering and has been with Taylor & Boyd since 1993. An Associate since 2000, Norman is a highly experienced engineer and leads a team including chartered engineers, graduate engineers and technicians. He has managed a wide range of engineering projects.
Richard Patterson
Senior Associate
Richard has over 30 years of experience in engineering and has been with Taylor & Boyd since 2000. An Associate since 2004, Richard is a highly experienced engineer and leads a team including chartered engineers, graduate engineers and technicians. He has managed a wide range of engineering projects. Richard is a trained CEEQUAL Assessor and guides Taylor & Boyd’s Environmental awareness.
Steven Sloan
Senior Associate
Steven Sloan has been a structural engineer with Taylor & Boyd since he completed his Masters degree at Queen’s University, Belfast in 2004. Steven achieved Chartership status in 2009. He has produced designs for reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber structures on projects covering many sectors of the industry.
Eamon O Neill
Senior Associate
Eamon has 15 years of experience in engineering design. He gained Chartership status with Taylor & Boyd in 2008, and manages the day-to-day running of our Derry office. During his time at Taylor & Boyd he has worked on major projects covering various sectors of the industry.
