Remediation of contaminated ground
Social housing development of 11 apartments and 1 retail unit
The demolition of an existing building was followed by the erection of 11 apartments and 1 retail unit with landscaping and associated site works.
After studying the geotechnical, topographical and contamination reports for this brownfield site we provided the design for a major concrete capping slab to contain ground pollution.
The structure was developed on a reinforced concrete frame with cladding to the second floor. An additional floor was added with timber construction in Dutch-barn style with dormer fenestration through the mansard roof.
