Recladding of a recognisable building within the Gasworks development, Belfast
Taylor and Boyd was the original project structural engineers over 20 years ago. The work involved checking the existing structure for additional loads and different load paths to suit the different cladding system being proposed. Phasing and temporary stability of the existing structure was also critical throughout the design and construction process. This was all undertaken while keeping the building fully operational throughout.
