Brook Hall

 

Brook Hall Estate is home to the UK’s first willow fired combined heat and power plant. Our brief for this project was to design a structure for their visitor centre which was environmentally friendly and in keeping with the estate’s ethos.  A timber grid shell roof structure was designed and expressed internally.  The structure is made from sawn timber and standard components.  The design of the structure allowed it to be assembled on site by a small team of joiners.
