Roddensvale Special School

 

Taylor & Boyd contributed design and supervised the construction of this new special school. Built within an operational high school campus it replaced existing facilities.

The total area is 2470m2, including teaching spaces, dining hall and hydrotherapy pool.

Due to varied ground conditions, the foundations are a combination of both ground beams and piles with one-way, spanning in-situ floor slab, and pads and strips with a ground beam in-situ floor slab.
